Trial Day and new beginners class

Come and try Kendo.

We open our dojo for a FREE trial training session. Everybody is welcome to try kendo at this event.

Please bring sports clothing. We will loan out shinai (bamboo sword) and bokuto (oak sword) for the session.

  • Schedule: 9:45 gathering, 10:00 introduction and training, finish 11:00. Watch kyu-grading to 12:00

  • Location: Kenseikai Dojo (Kastelsvej 58, 2100 KBH Ø. Indgang K)

  • Price: FREE

  • Age: Best 13 and up, but younger can try as well

After the training, you will have the chance to witness a kyu grading by the current members.

If you are interested in pursuing kendo after this trial session, we have the whole month of October free trainings for the new beginner class.

Gasshuku Training Day - SIGNUP DEADLINE EXTENDED

For kendoka of ALL LEVELS we are holding a whole day training. Led by the 6th dan Yosuke and 6th dan Arpad we will dive deep.

    • 9:00 - 12:00: Session 1

    • 12:00 - 13:00: Lunch

    • 13:00 - 15:00 Session 2

    • 15:00 - 15:30: Break

    • 15:30 - 18:00: Session 3

    • 19:30 - ??.??: Otukaresama party

  • Location: DGI-byen (Tietgensgade 65, 1704 København)

  • Price: 150,- or 100,- for Junior (under 15 year)

After the day there will be an optional social event for hanging out and getting to know each other a better.

Application Fee: 120DKK(€15), should be paid when you register for the examination
